Community Foundation Network
Community Foundations raise funds from their local areas to support the needs of
voluntary groups working to improve the quality of life for residents in that area.
There are now more than 60 Foundations in the UK and their number continues to grow.
Nationally, by March 2006 they held about £140 million in endowment (funds for the
future) and in 2005-
The Oxfordshire Community Foundation is proud to be accredited to the Community Foundation Network, an independent charity and umbrella body, linking, promoting and supporting Community Foundations across the UK.
