This 'Talking Newspaper' organisation provides a valued service to the blind and visually-impaired residents of Henley and the surrounding area. The equipment they used was old and becoming difficult and expensive to service and repair. A grant from the Foundation bought a new digital system. This means that the recording and copying process is more efficient and less time-consuming and that the user experiences a far superior sound quality and easier controls to cope with than the previous analogue cassette players.
