Musical instruments were purchased for this increasing popular youth brass band.

 

The main band was formed in the 1850's but the Junior Band is a more recent addition in 2008 and it is proving to be very popular.  However, because the cost of instruments is beyond the means of many of the parents, through the award of a grant, the Band has been able to purchase instruments that will be used by the Juniors for many years to come.  This will also enable more members to join.
