OARFDC is a not-for-profit organisation based in Oxford, founded in September 2004 Members are refugees and asylum seekers mainly those from central Africa: 5% elderly, 50% young people and 45% families and children who have used football as a way of breaking down barriers and integrating into the greater community.
"We gained promotion last season and will now be playing at a higher level. We have a strong squad of players with new ones being attracted as a result of our success. Three of the younger players are now with Oxford United on their scholarship scheme. Football has brought our community closer together and has also made us many friends both in and out of the football community."
