"Oxford includes a growing community of Nepalese, many of whom have served in the British Army.  We would like to build a close relationship by sharing our culture and customs with the people of Oxford.  Many of our children have grown up in the UK and have little experience of Nepalese customs and culture.  Celebration of these cultural festivals would be an opportunity for them to learn about traditional Nepalese culture. It would also be a chance for the group to engage with other ethnic communities to build and access networks."
