About Us
Oxfordshire Community Foundation is committed to improving the lives of Oxfordshire’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged by inspiring, influencing and enabling inidividuals, businesses and other organisations to think local and give local.
We support any type of non-profit group that is taking action to make life better for local people, from urban to rural, everywhere in Oxfordshire.
A typical grant is anything between £500 and £5,000 - vital funding that is highly effective in addressing social deprivation that usually would not come to the notice of local donors or the public at large.
Oxfordshire Community Foundation was established in 1995 and has successfully:
OCF's local knowledge and established expertise in grant making really do bring innovation and creativity to the endeavors of donors.
Something which ensures local charitable intentions are not made in isolation of the need but are instead more informed, effective and ultimately rewarding.
Our current priorities are to support a grant making programme that is targeted at:
- Enriching the lives of young and elderly people
- Encouraging local sporting activity
- Enabling events to involve as many people as possible
- Relieving deprivation, disability or social exclusion
OCF is one of 58 similar charitable organisations in the UK accredited by the Community Foundation Network.
This accreditation ensures we are serious about quality and accountability and work to best practice and standards endorsed by the Charity Commission.
